Khalid is back — and this time, it is personal.

The multi-platinum R&B star has officially announced the It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour, a 25-date North American run that marks his first headlining tour in six years. For fans who have waited since the 2019 Free Spirit World Tour, the wait is finally over. Khalid is bringing his full catalog to life on stage, city by city, night by night — and the excitement surrounding this run is impossible to ignore.

Khalid and the Tour That Has Been Six Years in the Making

The 25-date North American leg, featuring special guest Lauv, kicks off May 16, 2026, at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. From there, Khalid rolls through some of the most iconic venues in the country before wrapping the run on June 26 in Berkeley, California.

This is not just a tour — it is a statement. Khalid last headlined in 2019, a run that grossed 30 million dollars across 35 North American dates. The 2026 edition arrives with even more anticipation, a deeper catalog, and an artist who has clearly grown into a far more confident version of himself.

What Fans Can Expect From Khalid Live

Khalid has indicated he will perform songs from all his eras, with fans expecting to hear career-spanning hits including Location, Young Dumb and Broke, Talk, Better, lovely, and Eastside, alongside selections from his albums American Teen, Free Spirit, Suncity, Scenic Drive, Sincere, and after the sun goes down.

That is a setlist covering nearly a decade of music — from the bedroom-recorded diamond single that launched his career right before high school graduation, all the way to his most personal and liberated work yet. Every era of Khalid, on one stage, for one night.

Khalid and Lauv — A Dream Double Bill

One of the most exciting elements of this tour is the pairing of Khalid with Lauv. Both artists will perform full sets as equal headliners, giving fans two complete concert experiences in one night. Lauv, best known for his massive streaming hit I Like Me Better, brings his own devoted fanbase to the table — making every stop on this run feel like a genuine event rather than a standard opening act situation.

Together, Khalid and Lauv represent two of the most emotionally authentic voices in contemporary pop and R&B. Putting them on the same stage every night for 25 dates is the kind of pairing that will be talked about long after the tour wraps.

Khalid’s New Album Fuels the Fire

Fresh off the October 2025 release of his fourth studio album after the sun goes down, Khalid is taking his most personal and liberating music yet on the road. The record, released through Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records, represents a bold artistic evolution — and a live setting is exactly where that music deserves to be heard.

Khalid has been streamed over 35 billion times globally, earned seven GRAMMY nominations, and built one of the most loyal fanbases in modern music. The It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour is not just a comeback. It is a full arrival.

Tickets are available now at khalidofficial.com and through Ticketmaster.
