50 Cent and Max B unleash a ruthless new diss track

The T.I. feud just got a whole lot more interesting

50 Cent is officially back in the booth — and somebody in Atlanta should be paying close attention. Fresh off dropping the Power— Origins theme song with Leon Thomas, 50 Cent wasted absolutely no time before releasing a second track in the same week. This time, he linked up with Harlem’s Wave God Max B for No More Tricks, No More Tries — a gritty, soulful remix of Max B’s original track from his 2025 project Public Domain 7— The Purge — and the internet immediately started dissecting every single bar.

50 announced the drop the way only he can. Posting the track to Twitter with a two-word caption — ‘I am the algorithm’ — he let the music do the rest of the talking. And the music said plenty.

What the Track Sounds Like

The production on No More Tricks, No More Tries leans hard into a classic East Coast sound. Dark melodies, heavy drums, and soulful undertones create a gritty, tense atmosphere that gives both artists the perfect backdrop to deliver their verses. Max B’s hook floats lazily over the beat, creating a catchy refrain that contrasts sharply with 50’s more aggressive, confrontational delivery.

50 Cent handles both the hook and the first verse, setting a combative tone from the very first line. Max B follows with a relaxed but confident flow, and the contrast between the two artists makes for a compelling listen that feels natural despite how rarely the two have collaborated. One of their previous connections came on the track Hole In A Na, which featured Uncle Murda and French Montana, appearing on Max B’s project Million Dollar Baby Vol. 2.5 back in 2017.

Is This a T.I. Diss Track

The short answer is — almost certainly yes, at least in part. While no direct shot at T.I. appears explicitly by name, the song’s generally combative tone against opps, lies, tricks, and snitches makes it widely read as a subliminal message to the Atlanta rapper.

The feud between 50 Cent and T.I. has been building for months, rooted in a failed attempt at a Verzuz battle that never materialized. 50 Cent already took aim at T.I., his wife Tiny Harris, and their son King Harris in his Power— Origins theme song earlier in the week. No More Tricks, No More Tries appears to be a continuation of that energy — this time wrapped in street rap rather than a television soundtrack.

T.I. has since responded with multiple diss tracks of his own, including The Right One and Lessons, making this one of the more active rap beefs of 2026 so far. The back-and-forth has captivated hip-hop fans who have been hungry for this kind of raw competitive energy.

50 Cent Is Having His Most Active Music Week in Years

What makes this moment particularly remarkable is the sheer volume of output 50 Cent has delivered in a single week. Two days before dropping this track, 50 Cent released the Power— Origins theme song with Leon Thomas — taking shots at T.I. there as well. The back-to-back releases mark one of the most musically active stretches for 50 Cent in recent memory.

50 Cent continues to bridge the gap between rap and television storytelling as the executive producer behind the Power universe, but this week served as a reminder that when the moment calls for it, 50 Cent the rapper is still very much present — and very much dangerous.

Hip-Hop Is Watching

The conversation surrounding No More Tricks, No More Tries has spread fast. With over 350,000 YouTube views within days of its release and the T.I. beef still very much alive, 50 Cent has successfully recaptured the internet’s full attention at a time when most artists his stature would be coasting on legacy alone.

He is not coasting. He is hunting. And if the past week is any indication, 50 Cent is just getting started.
