Blueface posted on X on Friday night denying that he is the biological father of two-year-old Chrisean Jr., the son of his on-again, off-again partner Chrisean Rock. The rapper said the child’s real father is a man he referred to only as Ronnie, a reference widely believed to point to Karon Ronny Doe’ Cann, a former boyfriend of Rock’s who died in early 2025.
Blueface said he had been stepping in to fill a parental role because the biological father was no longer alive, but that continuing to present himself as the father no longer felt right. He framed the denial around his identity as a present father to his other two children, saying he did not want to be labeled absent for a child he claims is not biologically his.
Jr is not my biological son RIP to his father Ronnie I can no longer continue the plot it doesn’t feel right as a present father in all my kids life to be discredited as a absence father to a child that is not biologically mine I tried my best to fill in the blanks because his…

How the paternity question has shifted since 2023
This is not the first time Blueface has denied paternity. He made a similar claim in December 2023, just months after Chrisean Jr. was born, stating at the time that a DNA test supported his position.
The situation shifted in February 2025 when Chrisean Rock posted what she described as paternity test results to her son’s Instagram account. The results, as presented, appeared to show Blueface was the father. By November 2025, Blueface appeared to have changed his position again, referring to Chrisean Jr. as his son during a livestream and describing questions about his paternity as misguided.
Friday’s post on X represents yet another reversal, making the timeline of his public statements on the subject difficult to follow across nearly two and a half years.
Chrisean Rock responds and draws a line
Chrisean Rock pushed back on Instagram after Blueface’s post circulated. She did not directly address the biological paternity claim but focused her response on a separate grievance. Rock said Blueface had called both her and her son names during a streaming session with PlaqueBoyMax, an act she described as disrespectful and something she was unwilling to overlook or treat as acceptable behavior.
She said her decision to distance herself and her son from Blueface was driven by that conduct rather than by the paternity statement. Rock made clear she had no interest in a public back-and-forth and said her priority was raising her son in a stable and protected environment.
Chrisean Jr.’s full name is Chrisean Jesus Porter. Blueface’s legal first name is Jonathan.
What else is happening in Chrisean Rock’s life
Away from the dispute, Rock has a professional boxing debut scheduled for April 25 at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, Pennsylvania. Her opponent is professional wrestler Zenith Zion, and the three-round bout will stream on Triller pay-per-view. The fight places Rock’s first sanctioned boxing appearance on a national stage and adds another layer of public attention to a figure already generating significant headlines.
Meanwhile, Blueface announced last month during a Twitch stream that he is expecting a child with his current partner, Nevaeh Akira.
