The Seattle Seahawks held a private ring ceremony Thursday night for players, coaches, and football staff, unveiling championship rings that rank among the most elaborately engineered pieces of jewelry in Super Bowl history.
Designed and produced by Jason of Beverly Hills, the rings were three months in the making and incorporate a level of mechanical complexity that required an entirely separate engineering process before a single stone was set. The same jeweler has created championship rings for three of the previous five Super Bowl champions, giving the design house a well-established presence in the upper tier of sports jewelry.
What the ring looks like
The centerpiece of each ring features two miniature Lombardi Trophy replicas, honoring the franchise’s pair of Super Bowl victories. The trophies flank a Seahawks logo encrusted with 50 round white diamonds, a deliberate reference to 2025 being the organization’s 50th season in existence. The entire centerpiece sits within a surround of blue sapphires.
Each player’s ring carries personalized details on both sides. One face displays the player’s name and number alongside the letters M.O.B., an acronym for a team mantra adopted during last season that captured the group’s collective mentality heading into the championship run. The opposite side features another phrase, 12 AS ONE, positioned above a rendering of the Seattle skyline and the Super Bowl LX logo. The number 17 is engraved on the interior of the ring, reflecting the team’s combined total of regular season and playoff wins on the road to the title.
The engineering behind the reveal
The most technically ambitious element of the ring is a small button positioned to one side of the centerpiece. Pressing it triggers an internal mechanism that causes the arch structures representing Lumen Field to expand outward from both sides of the ring, revealing the words WORLD CHAMPIONS underneath. The mechanism involves multiple levers and spring systems developed over several months to ensure the moving parts would operate reliably without compromising the structural integrity or aesthetic quality of the finished piece.
The engineering required to make that feature work correctly demanded concept development, computer-aided design modeling, stone sourcing, casting, hand setting, polishing, and multiple quality control reviews before each ring reached its final form.
Two additional features that set it apart
Beyond the expanding arch mechanism, the ring offers two other details that elevate it above a conventional championship piece. The top of the ring can be fully detached from its base, allowing it to be worn as a pendant on a chain. The option transforms the ring from an item worn only on specific occasions into something the recipient can incorporate into everyday life.
Beneath the removable top, set behind the number 50, is an authentic piece of a football used during the 2025 season. The inclusion of game-used material connects each ring directly to the games that produced the championship, grounding the jewel in the physical reality of the season rather than making it purely symbolic.
The Seahawks’ previous Super Bowl rings, earned following their victory in Super Bowl XLVIII, were created by Tiffany and Co. The decision to work with Jason of Beverly Hills for this edition places Seattle in the company of the Eagles, Rams, and Buccaneers, all of whom have received rings from the same design house in recent years.
