A second former housekeeper has filed a lawsuit against Kylie Jenner, adding to a growing wave of legal trouble surrounding the workplace environment at the reality star and beauty mogul’s home.
Juana Delgado Soto, who worked for Kylie Jenner starting in 2019, alleges racial discrimination, wage violations and retaliation after writing the star a letter about her treatment
Juana Delgado Soto has filed suit against the 27 year old Kylie Cosmetics founder, Kylie Jenner Inc., staff supervisor Itzel Sibrian, Tri Star Services and La Maison Family Services. The lawsuit, obtained by the Los Angeles Times, alleges racial discrimination, harassment, failure to pay wages, failure to prevent or remedy harassment and discrimination, among other claims.
How the alleged mistreatment began
According to court documents, Soto began working for Jenner in 2019. While she alleges that meal and rest breaks were withheld from her throughout her employment, she claims conditions worsened considerably in 2023 when Sibrian was brought on as her supervisor.
Soto filed a complaint with human resources in 2024, accusing Sibrian of mocking her accent, immigration status and race, and calling her names. According to the lawsuit, Sibrian was temporarily removed following the complaint but was later reinstated. Upon her return, Sibrian allegedly retaliated by reducing Soto’s hourly wage, assigning her unreasonable workloads and altering her work schedule.
A letter left on the massage table
The situation reached a breaking point in April 2025, when Soto wrote a lengthy letter addressed directly to Jenner, detailing her grievances about the staff’s alleged behavior. She placed the letter on Jenner’s massage bed just before the star was scheduled for a session, in what appeared to be a last resort attempt to be heard.
In the letter, Soto expressed that she was suffering mentally as a result of her treatment and apologized for bringing the matters to her attention, indicating she believed the star was unaware of what was happening. The day after placing the letter, Soto claims she was threatened with termination and told she was no longer allowed to make eye contact with Jenner or smile at her and that if she ever came across Jenner, she would have to make herself scarce.
The painful details of daily life at work
Beyond the retaliation, the lawsuit outlines a series of additional alleged indignities Soto says she endured. She claims she was denied adequate bathroom access and was restricted from drinking water inside the home, which staff reportedly referred to as water belonging exclusively to Her. She was also allegedly forced to clean Jenner’s doghouse and made to miss her own birthday surprise party in order to cover one of Jenner’s dinner events.
Perhaps most painfully, Soto claims she was not given adequate time off when her brother passed away. According to the lawsuit, coworkers whispered that she was lying about his death and deliberately threw trash on the ground for her to pick up during her bereavement.
Resignation and a second lawsuit
In August 2025, Soto submitted her resignation via text message to her supervisors, citing ongoing mistreatment, anxiety, sleeplessness and the physical toll the stress had taken on her.
Representatives for Jenner declined to comment. A spokesperson also declined to comment when contacted by the Los Angeles Times on April 30, noting at that time that Jenner had not yet seen the lawsuit.
Attorney Della Shaker is representing Soto. Shaker is also the attorney behind a separate lawsuit filed in mid-April by Angelica Vazquez, another former Jenner housekeeper who alleged she was treated with hostility and exclusion by Jenner and two of the same companies named in Soto’s suit. Neither lawsuit makes direct legal claims against Jenner personally.
