Meghan Markle is giving fans a glimpse of what family life looks like after her return to the U.K. with Prince Harry and their two children.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, shared a short video on Instagram on Sept. 13, offering a peek at the family’s time in the English countryside after relocating from California for an extended stay in Britain.

The 35 second montage features Meghan, Harry, Prince Archie, 7, Princess Lilibet, 5, and the family’s dogs, Pula and Mia, enjoying a series of relaxed outdoor moments.

Among the sweetest details is Archie’s voice. As he runs alongside his younger sister while she rides a bicycle, the 7 year old can be heard encouraging her. His pronunciation has a distinctly British quality, prompting fresh attention to how life in the U.K. may be influencing the children.

The family settles into life in England

The video begins with Meghan and Harry walking outdoors together before moving through several scenes from their time in the countryside.

At one point, the footage shows what appears to be Lilibet’s feet near a fireplace. Meghan is later seen wearing wellies while making her way through a muddy puddle, adding to the cozy country feel of the family montage.

Lilibet then appears riding a bicycle, with Archie running alongside her.

The siblings playful outing is followed by footage of Harry spending time outdoors with both children. The trio can be seen fishing together from a boat, providing another glimpse into the family’s quieter moments away from the spotlight.

A British flag and red heart emoji remain visible throughout the post, reinforcing the significance of the family’s return to Harry’s home country.

The video is set to Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” giving the montage an upbeat soundtrack.

Archie’s voice catches fans’ attention

While the entire video offers a rare look at the Sussexes family life, Archie’s voice is one detail likely to attract particular attention.

The young prince appears to have developed some elements of a British accent while living in the U.S. and spending time in Britain.

His parents have spoken in the past about their children growing up with connections to both sides of their family. The family’s extended time in Britain now gives Archie and Lilibet an opportunity to become more familiar with the country where their father spent his childhood.

For Harry, 41, the move also brings his children closer to an important part of his own background.

Harry and Meghan arrived in the U.K. in August

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the U.K. with Archie, Lilibet and their dogs on Aug. 26, shortly after news emerged that they planned to make Britain their home base for an extended period.

The couple had previously established their primary residence in Montecito, Calif., after stepping away from their roles as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.

Although the family is now spending significant time in Britain, they are expected to maintain their California home.

The move also means Archie and Lilibet will attend school in Britain, giving the children an opportunity to experience daily life in the country where their father grew up.

Their children remain the priority

Settling the children into their new surroundings has been a major focus for Harry and Meghan since their arrival.

The transition represents a significant change for Archie and Lilibet, who have spent most of their lives in California. The family is now balancing a new routine in Britain while maintaining their connection to their home in Montecito.

Before leaving California, Harry and Meghan reportedly spent time with friends and family, including Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

The decision to relocate was reportedly something the couple had been considering for some time. While the change was emotional, the opportunity for their children to experience life in both the U.S. and U.K. was an important part of the decision.

For Meghan, the move allows Archie and Lilibet to experience two different environments and become familiar with both sides of their family background.

Harry, meanwhile, has an opportunity to introduce his children to the places and traditions that shaped his own childhood.

A glimpse into a new chapter

Meghan’s latest video does not offer a detailed explanation of the family’s plans, but the intimate snapshots provide a sense of what this new chapter looks like.

From muddy walks and bicycle rides to time on the water, the footage centers on ordinary family experiences rather than formal appearances.

And for viewers watching closely, Archie’s increasingly British sounding voice may be one of the most charming reminders that the Sussex children are beginning to experience a little more of their father’s home country.
